This does look like a LOT of fun. I'm interested that there isn't a single use case involving waves in their video. I wonder if the control (no fins) and perhaps the fact it doesn't look like it goes all that fast make using it in surf impossible?
@jaiganticness Hey Jai, yeah unfortunately we didn't get any good enough shots to include. I am dying to go surfing with it as well as jumping in the wakes/waves. We have gone in waves about 1 meter in height and it flies over them. Superfun! Don't worry, we'll go bigger!

I would dig to try out this thing. I'm an avid surfer and wakeboarder. To me the questions would be weight, maneuverability and then obviously transporting it.
This could be awesome in the ocean if it's light.
@Jacquesvh Hey Jacques. Thanks for your interest. It's awesome with all the water sport enthusiasts out there! The weight is approx. 29kg incl. batteries, it turns similarly to wakeboarding except the thrust comest from the back instead of from the boat. It will be just under 2 meters and we easily fit it inside a Volvo V70 with the back seat down (sticking a bit between the front seats).
It's light enough to jump with, though unfortunately we didn't get any great material when going in waves - but we'll leave some of the goodies for the next film. Best regards, Alex

@alexanderlind4 Thanks for the response Alex. It definitely sounds great. I'll definitely have to keep my eyes open for an opportunity to give this a go. Have a good day. Jacques

The wild thing is, the jet surf product has been around for aaaaages, and has just never gained much traction. The biggest difference being that the jet surf board is a traditional 2-stroke motor vs. the electric motor in the Radinn.
Ultimately, electric is where these things need to be. 2 strokes are in their death throes, and are unusable in more and more US waterways.

@alxmlv Hey Alex, battery life is about 40-60min in mixed speeds. If you go bottom down the entire ride it's about 20-30 min. Top speed is about 22-23 knots for me (80 kg in flat water) though the fastest we've gone is approx. 25 knots. We are constantly looking for ways to improve. Fins will be able to attach and switch depending on what you want to do. If you want to go surfing we will have the option of surf-designed fins. If you're a wakeboarder you can have lower fins. The jet intake actually gives a pretty nice stability and grip too.
@alexanderlind4 Thanks. 20-25kn is good wake speed, me happy :) How long does it take to charge? As with all powered X, battery life seems to be the weakest link.
