Ha! Funniest demo video I've seen in a long time - you got my attention. This is a great product - I mean look at how many people search for rain sound on YouTube! Now you just need to suggest some music that goes well with the rain sound. Also, is the sound a short clip on repeat, or did you figure out a way to make it random? Very fun product @neontomo !

@tonyhanded hi tony, glad you liked the video, i spent about 10 min on it!! 😄 but its fun. fun doesnt take much effort. yes music is on the todo list. the rain sound is a highly optimised 15min audio clip that loops, but in the future i want more options. thanks for engaging with my launch tony!

@anastasiia_stepko hi Anastasiia! what a great question. there is only the sound of rain right now, with a slight bit of bird sounds and a barking dog in the distance. these sounds are barely noticeable but add ambiance. you can expect mostly the sound of rain on metal roof, very relaxing. thank you for your support today!

@ler_ws you know, i'm a scrappy developer, i try to get it done quick and dirty. but with this app it easily became hard to make it smooth, so i spent a lot of time optimising the code and checking which types of shapes on the rain was most effective. the rain itself - it doesn't keep generating new ones, it loops (but not noticeable), which means it's running the same loop and keeping the resource usage in check. tldr: it's no issue on a modern mac to run this!

@neontomo Oh that's smart! Haha I just got curious cause usually things like these will cause a lot more frame refreshes 🙂 but then again since it's not a video stream it's usually not an issue. The looping will help to save memory for sure!
