Thanks for joining, @yuvals! I just discovered ReadingPack and it reminds me a lot of Linkydink (cc @jongold@choosenick).
How did you come up with the idea and why did you build it?
Really interesting idea. My co-founder and I have been looking for a good way to share links for a while and haven't settled on anything. We're using Kippt for now but it's not quite right. It seems like ReadingPack is more open like Kippt, whereas we're after something for sharing privately. I'll take a look anyway, though!
Thanks @rrhoover.
I like the idea of Linkydink. It's pretty cool and useful but it's different from @ReadingPack's goal.
I read a lot and my friends used to asked me to send them interesting articles, so I created @ReadingPack - It's like @Pocket, but with a social layer (shared reading list and reading feed from your friends' recommendations). Anyone can take a look on your reading list and you can follow your friends' lists.
Currently we're a team of two co-founders with big plans :-) I would be happy to hear any suggestions you may have.
Awesome idea @yuvals I love pocket, but their social features are horrible so there's definitely a need for something like this! Excited to try this out.
@rrhoover - It's great, especially Tel Aviv. A lot of startups and great people. Come visit someday. However, option of moving is always open.
@kam_bain - I'm glad to hear that, thank you! Please let me know what do you think (here or yuval@readingpack.com).
