My parents encouraged me to be a teacher and not an artist when I graduated from high school. They said I would starve. After my first year in Education in college, with a 57% in my education class and a 96% in my art class, I dropped out of college, moved 8 hours away and went to an art school for four years. I didn't starve. And I like green apples.
Pros:
This book is a must read for all creatives who don't want to starve. It challenges a scarcity mindset and will encourage artists to be bold.
Cons:
There are no cons for this book.

I love this book! If you're a creative in any way, you'll want to read it too. Well put together. Plenty of real life stories to encourage you and back up the premise. Great insight.
Pros:
Completely dispells the myth that artists can't make a living doing what the love and being creative.
