Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Natalia, co-founder of Reason8.
Every marketer and founder knows this moment: you're about to hit "publish" on a LinkedIn post, swap your hero headline, send a pitch deck to a big account, or launch a new product - and there's that quiet voice in the back of your head: "is this actually going to land?" The honest answer is usually: ship it and hope. Because proper research takes weeks, and the decision is tomorrow.
Reason8 is built for that exact moment.
Describe what you're about to ship, and our AI audiences - which predict actual consumer behavior with 86–95% accuracy - tell you what real people would think. In minutes, not weeks.
A few things people use it for every day:
→ "Which of these 3 LinkedIn posts will perform best with SaaS founders?"
→ "Is this new hero copy clearer than what's on our site now?"
→ "What's missing from our sales deck - what would stop a CMO from buying?"
→ "What do people actually think about my new product before I launch it?"
→ "Which positioning angle wins with skeptical buyers?"
And when AI simulation isn't enough, you can spin up real human interviews in hours - inside the same tool, no separate panel, no scheduling hell.
We built Reason8 because we watched too many great ideas ship half-baked, and too many good ones killed by committee. Marketers and founders shouldn't have to pick between moving fast and shipping with conviction.
I'd love your honest take today:
What's the last thing you shipped where you wished you could've gut-checked it first?
If you could simulate one audience right now, who would it be?
Any testing or research tool I should be learning from?
Try it, break it, tell me what sucks - I'm reading every comment today 🙏
~ Natalia

@natalia_zak I could remember building an order management system for ecommerce businesses, based on their size, they were SMB and informal, and we didn't realize this immediately, we had to try different ICPs, followed them up on LinkedIn, "wrong platform for that ICP," but it took us a long time to figure a viable or close to viable ICP but then the next thing you face is "is the market size large enough to make this business viable" and remember while you are thinking about this, you have already built the product, launched, need to start generating revenue/traction and a lot is happening at once and I hope Reason it helps cut the time shorter, before building the product, find ideal ICP+Market viability before building
Curious to test this, would love early access.

@nuelgeek The SMB-vs-enterprise mismatch you describe is the most common failure mode we see.
Reason runs that whole exercise - ICP definition, segment sizing, willingness-to-pay signals --> before a line of code. Happy to give you early access. You can sign for the launch offer here: https://reason8.io/wild/

Wow, it sounds great!
Curious how Reason8 handles ultra-niche B2B. In markets with a few hundred specialist buyers globally, three real conversations tend to beat anything simulated. The objections that matter usually come from a domain context that isn't really on the public internet for a model to learn from.
LFG!

@bartlomiej_nowak1 Funny enough, that’s exactly where we see the biggest delta. Generic LLMs are useless in ultra-niche B2B precisely because the domain context isn’t on the public internet - you nailed the reason.
Reason8 is built for that gap. The simulations won’t replace three real conversations, but compared to querying a generic model they’re in a different league for narrow B2B. That’s where customers tell us the difference is most obvious.

Wow, this can be a game-changer for B2B SaaS Product Marketers. I always struggled with either no budget or no time for proper persona research. And when I had it, we could test only a limited number of things. I'm wondering how easy it is to test micro things (like a landing page copy or a cold outreach email flow) with Reason8. Looking forward to taking this for a spin.

@futuristic Thanks Balázs! That’s actually exactly the sweet spot for Reason8 —> micro-tests like landing page copy variants or cold email flows are where it shines. We also always check our LinkedIn posts this way before we publish. This spikes the CTR on average by 25-34%. You can spin up a persona panel and get reactions in minute instead of waiting weeks for a research cycle. Would love to hear what you think once you give it a spin.

How do you measure 86–95% accuracy? Do you have any proof it actually works? Huge if true...

@mateusz_jacniacki We benchmarked it against real respondent interviews across 3 different qualitative research studies conducted with our clients 😎

@mikolaj_rostkowski niiice, a lot of products use made up numbers. Good that there is actual data behind it

Wow, this is so cool... How do you evaluate if an AI persona corresponds to real world people?

@kacpergadomski Good question - the way we tested it was by running AI personas against real respondent interviews on the same studies. We did this across 3 qualitative projects with our clients, so we have a direct side-by-side on how well the personas reflect real-world answers!

This is so cool! is this mainly testing B2C or B2B audiences?

@sebmandal Thanks! Actually both - we work across B2C and B2B. Each has its own dynamics, but the core approach holds up in both. Any specific use case you're thinking about?

Needed this so many times when doing my own idea validation ! Super cool
