I’m Alon, the creator of Reeroll, and I’m excited to share what I’ve been building.
What's Reeroll?
Reeroll is an AI video editor that helps anyone create short, engaging videos in minutes. No timeline editors, no steep learning curve, just a simple chat interface.
Why did I built it?
I first had the idea after watching my parents struggle to create videos for their business Instagram page. At the same time, I’ve always loved building things, but I dreaded making videos to showcase my own projects. Editing was slow, clunky, and always got in the way of actually creating.
What does it do?
With Reeroll, you just choose a template, provide your existing assets and links, and the AI customizes it for you. It can even fetch content from your website. You can upload your own images, logos, and clips, or start entirely from scratch.
Why is it different?
Most tools are either overly complex or locked into rigid templates. Reeroll keeps things as simple as possible while letting you iterate in real time. It’s designed so that both a small business owner and a builder like you can go from idea to polished, ready-to-publish video in minutes.

@alonzuman congrats on the launch Alon! Very cool, any specifics you want to highlight that you guys do better than clueso ?

@cheerst thank you! the main difference is that Reeroll is focused on "external videos" (i.e social media posts, ads etc), whereas Clueso (from my understanding), is focused on software explanation videos (which are often for internal uses, and some product marketing as well).
Reeroll is not limited to software videos only, and is more flexible, but not as specialized in software videos as Clueso is (which, from what I've seen they're doing a great job at)
Reroll is awesome! I created 3 videos already! Very well done, super responsive. I uploaded a screenshot to pinpoint and error, and it fixed the video perfectly!

@candytoybox Im happy to hear! thats a nice trick and its so cool you figured it out, I discovered it a few months ago and made it into an actual feature -
when you click on a specific moment in the timeline, you can choose to "Edit" it, and it does the same thing you did :)
how many product images are needed for a good quality video to be made. also do we need to professionally shoot the photographs ?

@jay_emp0 I would say between 0 to 2-3 images is usually enough, depending on the type of video you're creating. Reeroll can generate images based on your request (take a look at this example)
But generally speaking -
for a text based video, like these templates, there's usually no need for any images
for startup launch/promo style video like these ones, usually 0 to few images is ok.
for e-commerce style promo videos, you will likely need ~1-4 images of your product.
But the nice thing is that you don't need a certain number, you can just tell Reeroll "hey I have these 2 images of my product I'm selling here - https://mysite.com/product/some-..., make this video about the product and use these images, and it will just make it.

I think our marketing team would love this. I'm just scared that with all of these AI design/marketing/etc tools, it'll be super hard to create brand consistency. How do you get all the AI products to produce things that work with your brand?

@emil_wagman_at_incredible Thats a good point, I plan on adding brand kits so you can create unique but videos for your company, but still maintain your styles, color palette, fonts etc. Reeroll can produce very consistent outputs.

I just tested it and it is cool. Edit a video template by text only. Can you make it run faster?

@charlenechen_123 Yeah, I’m working on speeding it up, its kinda hard to keep the quality of the output high but there are some tricks im working on

Tried Reeroll with a startup template, entered my thoughts once, and it turned them into a polished short video. Simple, fast, and effective.

you can create full launch videos for your product by choosing one of the templates here and pasting a link to your product and just saying "Make this video about this <your-link>", thats how I created the product hunt launch video I shared here (with a few more tweaks)
@alonzuman this idea is super useful and saves a lot of time. Overall, I love the chat-to-edit feature, it feels so refreshing.
I've been using this tool for a while to quickly create launch videos for my startup. @alonzuman really did a great job with providing a smooth, effortless experience! Congrats on the launch 🎉
