Reindeer is built for developers who already know SQL, so you always have full control over what gets executed.
We never auto-run queries, you review and approve everything.
That said, we have taken extra care in the system prompt, & prepared guardrails to reduce the hallunication as much as possible. Reindeer helps you more with the query authoring part. what used to take 10–15 minutes now takes seconds. Much like Cursor!

We are using Cerebras for fast inference, mainly for the autocomplete part. This part will be abstracted out in our next release. Users can start using the platform without any friction!

Excited to share Reindeer with you all!
I spend most of my day debugging issues, checking logs, and fixing or optimizing database queries. This used to take a lot of time since I had to switch between multiple tools and manually write long SQL just to understand what was happening.
Reindeer changed that for me.

This is very true for me as well, and I believe it's a common problem among the engineers. Switching between ChatGPT and IDE and copypasting is annoying.
