I've used Remotely with a few different teams, and my colleagues love it, especially Gnomes & Moles (Forest Feud). It works especially well with teams who struggle with small talk and unstructured social events.
@alisha_newton_rudhru Hi Alisha, great to hear from you. Yes, I think we've seen your team posting some good scores in Forest Feud! We're glad that it helps you break the ice and connect. Thanks for your feedback Alisha. 😊
While the games are a great addition to have. I actually really appreciated the Meeting Rooms structure. I can share one link with my whole team, then simply walk into another space if I want to have a private meeting with my team leads. The Hub design is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
@ricadw Hi Richard, thank you for trying the Remotely platform and giving us feedback. During our user testing this was one of key takeaways for the team. Users wanted to simply share a link, have the ability to host a meeting and then transition into an activity. Another key insight was the fact that teams can also meet after the game and debrief or just hang out. We're so glad that this solves a problem for you 🤗
@ricadw Thankyou Richard, that is great feedback. We are really pleased to hear how your team is using the Hub on Remotely.

Thanks so much for making the base elements free, I was able to check out exactly what Remotely offers and get a taste of games on offer. Can’t wait to see what else the team builds!
@hear_me_roar_kids Our pleasure. It was important for us to put the tools in everyone's hands so they could gain the best insight into what Remotely has built. We currently have two new original games in development that we're really excited about as well as a host of other paid features. We do hope you'll stick with us for the ride.
@hear_me_roar_kids There's definitely some awesome updates coming. In particular more games to play and more functionality to make your remote working day easier and more enjoyable with your team.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
Gene Harris here - CX Manager at RemotelyHQ 🤓
As a remote-first company Remotely set out on a mission to connect all remote workers of the world….through play! 🎲
There are huge benefits to remote work!.... but, it’s not without its challenges.
In fact, they are the same challenges that have been around for 5 decades that have held remote work back: team coordination, team communication, worker wellbeing and isolation. 😓
As an Avid Gamer Founder Adam Berry made lasting connections with fellow gamers online despite having never met in real life. One day he asked himself “Why can’t I work this way?”. 💡🤯
So we’ve taken the best things about social gaming and built an avatar-based social hub with meetings, social games and activities for remote teams.
Why does your team need this?
Everyone notices a social disconnect while working remote. Lacking the common ground to form lasting social connections people can be left feeling isolated. Affecting their mental health, wellbeing and overall productivity. 😰
Without team cohesion this can negatively impact employee retention costing companies:
> Recruiting costs
> Onboarding costs
> Lost productivity
> Lost engagement
> Customer service and errors
> Training costs
> Cultural impact
If you had the chance to positively impact your team's culture with just 20 mins a week of structured activities would you take it?
We’re really excited that our MVP is now live with FREE original games and virtual meeting spaces.

@maxie_godoy Our pleasure! We wanted to make sure that we gave users the best opportunity to enjoy everything that remotely has to offer. Over time we'll have more free as well as paid features and content. We appreciate you taking the time to check the platform out :)

@gene_harris Yeah it's great as most SaaS asks for credit card details straight away and I always feel uncomfortable about that. So it's nice to be able to just try something first without the pressure. As it is I think the platform offers a lot of what I'm looking for. I'm going to test it early next week with some friends.
We've had so many great questions today. It's great to speak to so many people who are seeking tools to improve their teams remote social environment. We've also spoken to a few people trying to reconnect with relatives overseas as well as game enthusiasts, general tech and remote work champions. It's been a really interesting day so far. Thanks for taking the journey with us so far. ✈️
