We chose 3D as we believe its a more immersive medium, which is essential for social connection. 3D also means users can enjoy personalisation's of their unique avatar and environment. Finally, all the assets we create are transferable to the metaverse and VR in the future.
@ashwin_rao2 We chose 3D as a medium for a few reasons. 1) It gives the audience the perception of depth which helps to build immersion. This is a real difference flat 2D productivity tools. 2) The ability to reuse and repropose assets. Our animation rigs, costume assets etc... can be used in a variety of ways. Including potentially applications on the metaverse. 3) It allows us to use the assets in more creative ways, through animation, camera movements and character emotes. No doubt the animators and development team can give another 100 reasons...haha but these are the main ones from my point of view. Thanks for asking that is a great question.
