@kylekrzeski, my congratulations! The idea is definitely great. But I don't see in the list such large contacts databases as discover.org, D&B Hoovers, pipl.com, clearbit.com. In addition, there are email prospecting tools like hunter.io, snov.io and many others that collected tons of personal information. P.S. I have been researching contact prospecting for a long time. If you need help or advice, please do not hesitate to contact me.

@evilksandr Sorry for the delayed reply here! From what I understand most of those are business databases and I haven't seen anyone in the data removal industry cover those so I believe that goes a bit beyond the category of "data broker" that we are targeting. I think you should add an "delete account" option. It's funny how you protect the data on other sites, but cannot erase my account from your platform.

We got this from quite a few people and it has been added! :) To be honest it was mainly an oversight on our part on not making that available to users, but rest assured, we take all user feedback to heart and we've added this feature so that users can go to "Account" >> "Account Details" >> "Delete My Account" to remove their account and all related data! Thanks again for the suggestion!

Got excited about the product as it solves a problem I've been struggling with myself. So far I've been scheduling an hour a month to search for information online and manually removing obfuscating data. It's a great tool you've made there! However, after signing up it felt immediately like the site is doing the opposite of what it's advertising to do - it's asking for a lot of identifying personal information. I struggle to give such information in yet another place with not much authority behind it to prove it will serve for the good purposes only.

@naz_avo1 Sorry for the delay here! First off, glad we'd be able to solve your problem of spending an hour a month to search for your information and remove it. I did a similar thing and that's part of our mission to save people the time from doing it themselves. As far as asking for your identifying personal information, it's a bit of a catch-22. As if we don't have any of your information we wouldn't be able to identify where you're exposed and therefore wouldn't be able to submit the removal requests on your behalf. Also, your information is already out there. So like I mentioned in another comment recently, you're giving your data to one trusted company in order to get your data off of dozens of untrusted ones. That said though, it still leaves needing to answer your question of are we a trusted company? That's a fair question and a necessary one at that! We founded in 2020 and are a registered LLC in the state of Virginia. While I agree that being a one year old founded company probably isn't enough to prove we're legit, every business has to start sometime, and we hope that our pattern of transparency, clarity, and overall helpfulness in the space lets you see that we are indeed legit.
