Most editors are still timeline-first. You drag clips in, cut manually, and spend hours building a first edit. Renderr flips that. Upload your footage and it automatically cuts, structures, captions and adds music in minutes. A 22 minute vlog with 40+ clips can be edited in 10–15 minutes. Then export your timeline to Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve for full control.

Renderr
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Louis, founder of Renderr.
I built Renderr because editing was slowing me down more than anything else.
Filming was never the issue.
Posting wasn’t the issue.
Editing was.
Every video meant:
• hours cutting clips
• structuring everything manually
• adding captions, music, pacing
One 20–30 minute video could easily take 4–6 hours.
It got to a point where consistency just wasn’t realistic.
So I started building something for myself.
Renderr takes your raw footage and generates a full first edit:
cuts, structure, captions, music all done in minutes.
A recent test:
22 minute vlog, ~40 clips → full edit in 5-12 minutes.
The goal isn’t to replace tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
It’s to remove the most painful part:
starting from zero.
You can still export your timeline and refine everything after.
This is still early, and I’d genuinely love feedback from creators:
• Does editing slow you down the most?
• What part of your workflow is the most painful?
I’ll be here all day replying to everyone 🙏

one 20 min video taking 6 hours to edit... i felt that in my soul lol. consistency is impossible when you're a solo creator and have a day job. definitely checking out the beta.
@priya_kushwaha1 Haha the "felt it in my soul" comment is real — that ratio of filming time to editing time is brutal for solo creators. The part that always broke me was knowing the footage was good but spending 3x longer in the editor than I did filming. What I love about what Louis is doing here is the export to Premiere/FCP/DaVinci — so you get the fast first cut automatically, but you still have full control for the polished version. Best of both worlds instead of being locked in yet another proprietary editor.
@gaurav_singh91 So true 😅 that editing time vs filming time ratio is painful for every solo creator.
