Reviewers are overwhelmingly negative about Resume Io, focusing less on resume quality than on billing and cancellation. The most repeated complaints describe trial or low-cost downloads turning into recurring charges, poor price visibility, hard-to-complete cancellations, continued billing after cancellation, and refund refusals. Support is often described as slow, scripted, or unhelpful, though a few users say staff eventually responded or solved issues. On the product itself, some users like the templates and ease of use, but others say export is paywalled and AI or tailoring features feel weak or broken.

It was cool and easy to use. Great feature for cover letters as well.
Pros:Good UX, good templates
Cons:Too many plans
Probably the easiest resume builder and more importantly, the templates are user-friendly, meaning the person reviewing the resume can glance at them and extract the most pertinent information quickly.
Pros:Easy UI, nice templates
Cons:Ease off the self-scored skill assessments and personal info like nationality, address, place of birth, etc...
Finding a job is no longer about your resume but more about a portfolio of work you have done and feedback/recommendations you have received. A resume will no longer help recruiters find Talent. Finding Talent is now about a variety of things you can do, and you cannot show that in a resume anymore.
Pros:Interesting concept for people whom are looking for job the traditional way
Cons:Does not change the way HR works Does not introduce a new idea
