Hi Product Hunt! 👋 Revive started when I tried to restore my grandparents' old photos and realized every app wanted me to upload our family memories to someone's server — then charge a subscription for each enhancement. So I built the opposite: the entire AI pipeline (Real-ESRGAN super-resolution) runs on the iPhone itself. Nothing is uploaded, it works fully offline, and since there's no cloud cost per photo, pricing stays simple. The hardest part was fitting a real super-resolution model on a phone: preprocessing in background isolates, inference on native threads so the UI never freezes, and careful memory limits so huge old scans don't crash the app. Next up: dedicated face restoration for portraits, and tiling so large scans can be processed at full resolution.
