Is there a way to change the songs it selects from your Spotify account? Just curious because it picked up an EP from mine (the same artist 4 times) - the new artists showcased are different which is great but would love to see it working on a wider selection of music :)

@mccaffrey123 Great idea! Currently we're just pulling the songs you listen to most on Spotify and generating the playlist only from artists in the Andrson database. We would love to integrate this into a larger database or streaming service - this is where the power of the technology will really shine!

love it, I was thinking recently how we need more people building stuff with the Spotify API. So this sounds amazing. Can you do the same thing with podcasts?

@theshawe Hey David! Thanks for the feedback. This is very much version one. It's currently working off the Andrson database, but we can plug this into any audio catalogue and run the same search. Podcasts would be a really interesting area to look at!

This is great! Is there a way to select what the "seed" artist is? The system picks out the same artist each time to compare against even though my wrapped playlist has a handful of artists on it.

However, as we expand and integrate it into larger databases and systems, we'll continue to add in new functionality and opportunities to discover more artists. Thanks for the suggestion!

Our technology presents truly unbiased results, meaning that you have the opportunity to be that first-fan. 📼 Listen and share your results Have a listen to your recommendations, go on, jam it out! You can listen using the player on the page or select a share button that allows you to add your recommendations as a playlist to your Spotify account.
