Hi ProductHunt! Almost every company that I've worked for has always used Notion or Google Docs to manually track their competitors. Once I started working on my own startup, I quickly realized that it's pretty tedious to try to keep an eye on my competitors and keep all the data updated manually.
RivalHunt is designed to empower startups in tracking their competitors effortlessly. It offers:
βοΈ Real-time updates on competitors' website changes, such as pricing updates, team modifications, and feature releases.
βοΈ Stay informed about competitors' latest social media posts across Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit.
βοΈ Access the most recent Crunchbase data on competitors, including funding rounds, acquisitions, and team alterations.
βοΈ Customizable update frequencies to suit your monitoring needs.
Excited to share it with the community today! I'm here to answer any questions.

Hi Andriy!
My congrats on the launch!
Very good project and clear and actual idea. Everyone needs to know their competitors. It's a key of success business!
Andriy, congratulations on the launch! π I have a quick question: can RivalHunt monitor even minor changes, such as product positioning on a website or new titles and sections, or does it currently focus more on major public changes like media updates or investment rounds? I would be interested in testing your product through early access.
@anna_sv Hi Anna! The product is able to track both major company updates (eg new investment rounds) as well as small page updates. You should be able to configure what updates youβre interested the most in to avoid notification noise :) Thanks for the question!
Heleana from Videodeck here. π₯ Manual tracking is such a pain, right? RivalHunt sounds like a lifesaver! It's always a game-changer when you can get a heads up on competitors without the snooping. π And if ever you want to make a snazzy video about RivalHunt, hit me up! Best of luck! ππΏ
RivalHunt sounds like a game-changer for startups and businesses striving to stay ahead of the competition! π
Tracking competitors manually can indeed be a time-consuming task. Your platform's real-time updates on competitors' website changes, social media posts, and Crunchbase data provide valuable insights that can inform strategic decisions.
Could you share more about the customization options for update frequencies? How flexible is RivalHunt in adapting to different business needs and industries? And do you have any success stories or specific use cases where RivalHunt has helped companies gain a competitive edge?
@ricardo_luz Thanks, Ricardo! π RivalHunt provides close to live updates for all the data sources (Google, Crunchbase, Linkedin, etc). The update frequency feature is mostly used to configure integrations and allows you to configure daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
Also, RivalHunt is industry agnostic but it works best with niche markets with clear competitors set. We haven't introduced it yet but we're planning to launch competitor suggestions which should be extremely helpful in doing the market research on the early stages of the company.
