You know you want to be a topnotch software engineer, but it's never easy to get there. You feel lost and don't know what to do. This is what you are looking for, a guide from ground up to top level based on twenty years intensive programming experience.
Hi there, my name is Fang-Pen, I started teaching myself programming since I was 12 years old by building a hobby MMORPG. Since then, I’ve been coding and making different things continuously for 20 years almost every single day. In these years, I’ve learned things like how do you teach yourself a new language, a new framework. How do you decide what to learn? How do you find your motivation and form a positive feedback loop? I always wondered, there are so many books out there teaching you different language/tool/technology, but what about learning itself? What about finding a job?
What that in mind, I want to write a book about how to build up your software engineer career from the ground up, including finding your motivation, to meta-learning (learning about learning), career development, how do you practice your programming skill, etc.
I am publishing this book in the lean publishing mode. It’s like only 10% done for now. It will be set at a low price for now, and raise up later when I add more content. In this way, the early bird can get a discount, and I can also get feedback early on. Please notice that the content is subject to change.
Finally, hopefully, this is helpful, and feel free to ask me if you have any question, all feedbacks are welcome 😄 🙌
