I kept bouncing between heavy task apps and random notes, and my day still felt scattered. I wanted one place to see morning → afternoon → evening, tap to complete, and actually see progress without a million features.
So I built Routine Checker around a single idea: your whole day in one view. You define sections (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Workout, Anytime), add tasks, and tap when they’re done. Streaks are there to keep you honest, but the UI stays minimal so it doesn’t become another thing to manage.
The main shift during development was cutting scope. It’s easy to add reminders, widgets, and integrations; the harder part was saying no and keeping the app fast and focused. I’m shipping the version that does one thing well: structure your day and make it easy to follow through.
Would love to hear how you organise your day—and what’s missing in the apps you’ve tried.
