I love how easy it is to start using this service. First click logs you in via Twitter, second click joins or creates a new chatroom.
I created a channel for Product Hunt here: https://rtbl.co/product-hunt
Chatrooms used to be big back in the day. What happened to them? Is there a place for them in the modern web?
@marckohlbrugge@rrhoover@guygal Hey guys, thanks for the feedback! Love the site you've got here.
As far as mobile goes it's web only for now, but I did my best to disguise it as a native app on iOS if you add it to your homescreen:
I saw your convo at https://rtbl.co/product-hunt and agree a lot of these services die out for one reason or another. Interesting idea about limiting the # of chatters. A similar idea that crossed my mind was to add channels within rtbls to reduce the noise, but for less popular rtbls it could have a negative effect?
I like what @joshm, @libbybrittain, and the rest of the team did with Branch but it never stuck with me.
@sausman - what do you have planned for Rtbl next?
@guygal Works great on mobile too, but the interface can be a bit confusing at first. Although it seems the chat window is cut off you can actually tap it and it becomes full screen.
