SAMMY is an invisible AI agent that watches your screen and talks to you in real time. It's like having an expert standing behind you, guiding you step by step as you work or browse.
Was a little slow in places but the potential is pretty crazy. I spend hours watching YT tutorials, especially for n8n , flipping between screens checking which API key i need etc... tutorials never quite hit the spot but this is really nice. Great work.

👋 Hey PH, I’m Shashank, part of the team behind SAMMY.
This is something we’ve been hacking on recently, and we just wanted to put it out there to get feedback. The basic idea behind it is instead of learning new things on your computer by bouncing between blog posts, YouTube videos, and trial and error, SAMMY makes the process interactive. It’s an invisible AI agent that can see your screen and talk to you in real time — guiding you step by step, answering the “wait, what?” moments, and adapting to what’s actually on your screen.
Whether it’s setting up components in Figma or figuring out a tricky formula in Google Sheets, SAMMY walks you through it as you go.
We’re still early, definitely rough around the edges, but the early feedback has been encouraging. You can even create guides yourself to share with your team or others.Would love your thoughts — and curious, what’s the first tool you’d want SAMMY to guide you through?

@theshashank15 Such a powerful concept! I'm all for tools that reduce the friction of learning by doing — SAMMY sounds like a total game changer. Can’t wait to try it out, congrats on the launch!
@theshashank15 Congrats on the launch, Shashank! The idea of SAMMY guiding people live on their screen is really compelling. Curious though, if it works as intended, do you see it staying a personal tutor for single tasks, or evolving into something closer to a universal interface layer where people might rely on SAMMY instead of even learning the tools themselves? That could completely change how people think about “learning by doing.”
@tonyabracadabra hey Tony, I’m not entirely sure on this just yet although it’s definitely a possibility of Sammy evolving there. Right now we’re going step by step - and as of now we do integrate with any MCP server to get actions done for you. I think becoming a universal interface layer requires a slightly different user experience to be really effective

Congratulations on your launch. This is cool.
Does it helps eliminate watching tutorials for using any website. Let's say I want to update a domain's DNS, would it guide me on how to add a particular record or change NS records on a particular page?
@robin_hablani1 yep that’s exactly what it’s built to do, replace tutorial videos

SO COOL!!! I wonder if SAMMY can't teach me how to code? I believe that this kind of artificial intelligence-guided learning can promote my code progress!

Cool concept, does it trigger any kind of browser automation alarms? Let's say I ask it to draft a post reply for on X. You got an upvote btw.
@romil_depala1 haha funny you say that - Sammy actually integrates with any existing MCP server. The integrations come into play more so when Sammy is installed on a particular website via npm, rather than Sammy guides here which works via screen share

Love this take, instead of hunting for random tutorials, having SAMMY actually see your screen and guide you step by step feels like the future of learning software. Curious to try it on something messy like Figma.
I love this ❤️ One idea: adding different learning modes could be really powerful, for example, a voice-only coaching mode for focus, or a ‘text + highlight’ mode for those who prefer silent guidance.

this is insane! How long until sammy replaces the need for us to do these actions at all, instead of just guiding us!
