This is awesome! I'd love to connect it to other services. Is there a plan for a simple api? Or email service that I can email to, to automatically add todo's?
@jonnotie We've built our app with an API, but it lacks some features and documentation to be released to the public. We might release it this year though. As for adding todos by email, that is definitely something we're looking into the close future.
You are entering a crowded space. I would have wished a comparizon matrix on your website why your product is different/better than Wunderlist or Asana.
@skreutzb Awesome feedback. Thanks for pointing that out. That's definitely something we'll look into.
We've built Samu to help us managing our time. We've been huge fan of the Eisenhower matrix, but didn't find any tool that allows us to use it. Samu gives you a clear overview of tasks you should do today, delegate or schedule for later. It even tells you which tasks you shouldn't do at all. This helps us to stay productive and focused :-) Nevertheless Wunderlist and Asana are great tools.
Report
@skreutzb Great to find Samu here on PH. I was one of the first users and have been working with Samu for a few weeks now after I had tried some other tools including Wunderlist. What makes Samu so powerful is that it combines the two essential dimensions of time management: time and priority (actually it adds a third dimension - I love the focus list). Prioritizing has always been the main challenge for me and from my experience it is for a lot of people.
In my opinion, what’s important: I wouldn’t say Samu is better than other tools in general, it’s simply different. A different approach that fulfills different needs for different people. For me, Samu is better than all those other tools out there. For others it might be not.
