Music, reimagined as messaging. Some messages deserve more than text. Send a playlist instead: a personal, genuine way to connect. What you can do: 1. Use song titles to write a message. 2. Create playlists that actually mean something. 3. Share music with purpose. Simple. Visual. Personal.β¨ So no one forgets how you made them feel. π Try it and turn your intentions into music.

@mrmewfree Playlists as messages feels super shareable. Balancing exact title matches with a Spotify playlist that still flows is the hard part. Does Say it with a Playlist show the match and let you lock a few songs before regenerating? That loop keeps it fun.
Hey @piroune_balachandranΒ , Thanks for the question. Short answer: yes.
You can preview up to 10 different song options for a given piece of text, which lets you explore multiple interpretations before settling on the right one. That said, the final curation is intentionally left to the user: you decide which songs to keep and how the playlist should flow. Upcoming iterations of the app will gradually introduce new options and features to better support that curation process.
One thing to note: while the app lets you choose your preferred streaming platform, Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon Music currently have their production APIs closed. This limits the automatic export feature. However, you can still generate platform links and manually recreate the playlist on your streaming service of choice.
This app is great - reminds me of when we used to make mixed tapes to share with friends to tell a story! I just had a question- how much does the music adapt to your profile/music taste over time? Or is this ultimately more about surfacing songs you might not normally be able to find or even know?
Hi @caroline_cassidy1Β , for the kind words. I love the mixed-tape comparison.
Itβs a bit of both. Right now (V1), the focus is more on discovery and resurfacing tracks within the catalog. In V2, weβll introduce deeper personalization so it can adapt more to your music taste over time. Hope this helps:)
It's a very nice idea and it makes you want to try. Can you find songs and music from other countries than your own or from northern countries?
Hi @jimmie_marchelΒ , thanks!
Yes, you can discover music from many countries.
The catalog is built from MLC data and includes 230M+ tracks across Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Tidal, and Deezer.
Even though English titles dominate (~69% of the dataset), many of those songs come from artists all over the world.
Using other languages (French, Spanish, Italian, etc.) often makes it even easier to explore diverse origins. Note that simple, conversational phrasing work best.
Feel free to give it a try: generate up to 3 playlists a day without login (5 more if you sign in), with Apple Music links included.
Let me know if you have any questions :)
@jimmie_marchelΒ @mrmewfreeΒ
It works in French! I like the preview of the songs. I read in the comments that you can get access to links. How? I'm just using a guest account. Is it possible?
@jimmie_marchelΒ @vetgirlΒ Hi, sure you can access the links using on of these steps on the result page:
1. when clicking on V1 and/or expand the miniplayer you open the full player. The song link is below the play button (e.g. discover on Apple Music).
2. If you click on the plus icon, you access a menu where all playlist links are available (but it require to login).
Hope this helps
Hey, is there a way to select musical genre when generating a playlist?
Hi @vetgirlΒ , not yet but thanks for the suggestion. The initial data set did not contain genre as a value for each song. But I'm working on it and it might be part of the release in a short future.
@vetgirlΒ Same question here. That is a feature that would level up the app for sure!
@vetgirlΒ @mamypipoΒ Indeed, that's part of the roadmap. I'm looking into a way to simplify genre to its core categories. Last think I want is to loose users in the thousand sub categories that are existing out there. Keep you posted ASAP.
Nice concept. Does the text generation works only in english or can we create messages in other languages too?
Hi @clairette666Β , thanks! Any language can work as long as it is contained in a song title. Multilingual messages are also supported, provided they mainly rely on the Latin alphabet.
Other writing systems may work, but the tokenization process is not specifically optimized for non-Latin scripts.
A quick tip: with simple, informal, or conversational phrasing, it is often possible to reach a 100% match. Very formal language tends to match less frequently, as it is less commonly reflected verbatim in song titles.
Hope this helps!
Thanks a lot ! It seems to be very cool ! I will try right now
@clairette666Β Let me know how it went! Happy to collect any feedback.
Super interesting; it's a great way to talk things through; successfully tested the free version with Apple.
Heya @dominique_paturel_dompatt_Β , thatβs fantastic to hear. Really glad you had a nice experience! If you have any questions, please let me know.
Hey, I looked at the frontpage and can only use Apple. Why?
Hey @mrlmlΒ , you can try for free using a guest account and generate a playlist using Apple Music or subscribe to a plan and get access to other platforms. Hope this helps :)
