Unlock the knowledge, ideas and content in your screenshots. Every time you capture a new screenshot, Fabric will automatically analyse, understand and make it searchable with AI. Just connect your iOS screenshots folder.
The cadence at which you guys ship products is off the chart! This is a fantastic idea! My screenshot folder is a mess and indeed a "goldmine of information" that just gets discarded. The auto-analysis and searchability features sound like they will make it much easier to get some use out of that abandoned resource. Kudos @johnny_makes and team!
Congratulations on the launch!
The idea of making those countless screenshots not just useful, but easily accessible is pure genius. Cheers to redefining our digital clutter and making our screenshotted memories shine brighter!

Framer — Launch websites with enterprise needs at startup speeds.
Launch websites with enterprise needs at startup speeds.
Hey Product Hunt!
Johnny here from Fabric 👋
We're quite nervous, very happy, and insanely proud to launch ScreenshotAI on PH today!
It's a huge milestone for our team, our early users, and all screenshot hoarders out there.
⮑ Why?
Our screenshot folders are a goldmine of information, ideas and useful content – like a visual notebook. The only thing is... we never look at them again, and they're very clumsy and awkward to navigate.
⮑ What is it?
If your screenshots folder is a goldmine, then ScreenshotAI is a robot miner, getting the gold and refining it so you can use it. ScreenshotAI unlocks all of the useful content, extracting the information, making it searchable and even accessible with a chatbot.
Try it today!
Let's turn our screenshots into smart, searchable notes together 🔥
I hope you like it! And will be around all day to answer any Q's 💥
Thanks for being a part of our early journey 🙂
@johnny_makes Congrats on the launch. As a designer I've got tons of screenshots stuck in my photos folder, so have been looking for a tool that'll help me do something with them. Thanks.
Hey there - How do I get started? I went through the sign up flow and there were no prompts on how to get going with the Screenshot product. I see there is an "iOS screenshots" in the data source page, but it doesn't do anything when you tap it.
@michalnaka - Sounds like you found the right button. What is supposed to happen is when you tap that button to connect the iOS Screenshots data source, iOS should prompt you to allow access to your photo library. Once you have allowed access, it should start syncing.
If you had installed the app a while ago, I would recommend making sure you are running the latest version. Otherwise, fully closing the app and opening it up again.
Please let us know if that helps / doesn’t help
@michalnaka super weird! can you try closing the app and reopening?

@johnny_makes thanks I figured it out. I don’t think I was prompted to download the TestFlight app after I signed up from the landing page? I was on the web app. I found the TestFlight link and now got it to work. Thanks.
This is awesome! I'm constantly taking photos and screenshots of receipts, confirmation numbers, and other useful information that I'll need later. Is there an android version on the way?
Thanks @mattovca ! 🙌 And Android will coming in just a week or so!

Great update, I’ve been using Fabric for a few months but haven’t activated this yet because I wonder if the screenshot AI support Chinese language (most of my screenshots are in Chinese)??
Congrats on your launch!
It looks useful and I noticed some of my memory in my photo album as a screenshot.
I want to try it.
What business model is your plan?
thanks so much @naoto_shibata_morph ! and our business model is a monthly or yearly subscription model, with a free plan with limited storage and features to get you started :)
Can I highlight text in the screenshot and have the AI copy and save just that text? I’d love for it to go into Notion or Apple notes

Sounds like a cool idea! Do you have the option to also tag and document them? Possibly save by category, or tag?
I'm feeling that may be a great feature to help curate the screenshots, while also being able to ask them questions.
