Hit record. Talk about your video idea. SCRIPTAU writes a script that sounds like you, not like AI. No prompts, no templates. Your voice in, your script out.

super clean design. i noticed it's voice-first, but is there an option to upload an existing voice memo from my phone, or do i have to record it live inside the app?
@alexandrepohl For the free tier, it's live recording only to keep the 'instant' vibe. But you can definitely upload existing voice memos in the Pro and Pro+ plans. It's been a game changer for people who record ideas on the go. Thanks for checking it out!
sometimes i just mumble my way through an idea when i'm excited. does the tool actually clean up the logic of what i'm saying or does it just transcribe the mess word-for-word?
@kim_salomoni Oh it definitely doesn't just transcribe, that's actually one of the core problems we obsessed over solving. When you mumble or ramble through an idea, the AI treats your audio as a creative brief, not a script. It extracts the intent, the emotion, the key moments, then restructures everything into a proper cinematic script with scene direction, dialogue, and retention beats. And if your recording is really sparse (just a few words or a half-formed thought), it automatically switches to a different mode where it uses what you said as a starting point and builds a full script around it, instead of just echoing back your words. So the messier you are, the more useful it actually becomes because it's not a transcription tool, it's a direction tool. You direct, it writes.
love the minimalist vibe. does it support other languages or just english for now
@jennifer_neres Thanks! Full support for both English and Portuguese right now, the engine writes natively in each, not just translating. More languages coming soon!
Really into the 'refinement' part. does the ai remember the previous context of the audio when i ask for changes?
@ellen_m_l_g yes, when you refine, the ai keeps the full context of your original audio and the generated script. so you can say things like 'change the ending', 'make it funnier', 'cut the second part' and it knows exactly what you're referring to. it's a conversation, not a reset.
scripts for shorts usually sound like garbage with ai, but this refinement thing actually works.
@victor_luiz1 Appreciate that! The refinement works because it doesn't regenerate the whole script, it makes surgical edits to the exact scene or line you point out, keeping everything else intact. Like giving notes to a writer, not starting over.
actually a decent way to get away from the chatgpt-style writing. scripts feel more natural.
@nicoli_clavero That's by design, the AI is grounded in your voice, your words, your rhythm. It builds the script from what you actually said, not from a generic template. So the output sounds like you, not like AI.
The brain dump approach is smart. Way easier to talk than to type out prompts for 10 minutes
@rodrigo_hayek Exactly, that's the whole idea. Your voice already has the tone, the energy, the pauses. The AI picks all of that up and structures it for you. Talking for 30 seconds beats typing prompts for 10 minutes every time.
