P2P encrypted messaging directly in your browser — now available on GitHub!
We just released the SecureBitChat Browser Extension for Edge and other Chromium-based browsers. It brings the world’s most secure P2P messenger to your browser, with end-to-end encryption, zero-server architecture, WebRTC direct connections, ECDH + DTLS + SAS verification, and QR code support for fast peer connections. Lightweight, non-intrusive, and privacy-first, it’s the perfect companion to the web version of SecureBitChat.
I’ve been using SecureBit.chat for private and professional communication, and it’s been a game changer. The P2P architecture and end-to-end encryption make it incredibly secure while still easy to use. It feels lightweight, fast, and completely private — no servers, no tracking, no noise.
What needs improvement
What I love most is that it brings real freedom back to online communication.
If there’s one thing to improve, it would be adding more integrations and a mobile app — but even now, it’s an outstanding platform that redefines digital privacy.
I chose SecureBit.chat because it’s truly peer-to-peer — no servers, no accounts, no tracking. I love that everything happens directly between users, with strong encryption built in. It feels like the purest form of private communication, without anyone watching over your shoulder.

Thank you so much, Ethan, for such an insightful and inspiring review! I completely agree — that feeling of true freedom and privacy in communication is something we’ve all been missing for a long time.
You described SecureBit.chat perfectly: “the purest form of private communication.” Couldn’t have said it better! 👏
