I built SecURL because a one-off security scan is useful, but it starts ageing immediately. SecURL gives a passive outside-in read of a public website: headers, TLS and certificates, DNS and email trust, cookies, redirects, visible third parties, public services, and related posture signals. It returns a grade, evidence, and concrete next actions without credentials or exploit attempts. The latest CLI flow connects that first result to the recurring product. Run npx securl scan example.com, then explicitly choose whether to open a fresh browser-owned scan and save the target as a daily or weekly watch. The local result is not uploaded, the prompt defaults to No, and automation remains silent. SecURL is free to try across the web scanner, npm package, iOS apps, and self-hosted Android downloads. I would value honest feedback on scoring, signal clarity, and whether the monitoring continuation solves a real problem. SecURL 1.4 is live, and it changes the product's front door.

You can now paste a link or scan a QR code before opening it. SecURL shows the decoded URL, redirect chain, final destination and HTTPS changes. It does not call a link "safe". It gives you evidence, then leaves the decision with you.

The release also brings posture, header and certificate monitoring into one app.
