Hi Xu, thanks for the great question! I have personally experienced bias when applying for jobs in the past, so one of my core goals with Serand was to help reduce this for others.
There are several different steps we take to reduce this and to carefully strike the balance between analysis and human nuance.
Human input will always be needed as part of hiring as we are looking to augment the human decision-making process when hiring rather than replace it.
Thanks for the question; the key difference is that we attempt to take a holistic look at the candidate, job and company to provide a deeper look at the match, and we leverage AI algorithms to look at historical data to make our scoring and analysis more and more accurate over time.
