I am just downloaded it to test with VS Code! curious to see how well it picks up code context without manual prompts.
@adams_parker Awesome—would love to hear how it goes! When you start a task in VS Code, Sider Omni can understand the code context in the current window without making you copy it into the chat first.

I like that the assistant stays close to the context instead of forcing you to jump into a completely separate app.
@salisu_abubakar3 Thank you! Keeping the assistant beside the current window means fewer interruptions and no need to leave what you’re working on just to get help.
The sidebar approach is simple, but I can see it becoming surprisingly useful once it becomes part of your daily workflow.
@yusuf_sadi_sokmen Thank you! It keeps you in your flow without interrupting your train of thought. Fewer app switches and less copy-pasting throughout the day can add up to a lot of saved time.
This could be nice for people who are constantly switching between docs spreadsheets and other apps.

The Numbers chart example made sense to me. I spend half my time shifting information between applications so having a chart improved through asking what comes next seems very appealing.
@merle2 Thanks! Charts are rarely done in one pass—you see the result, then want to tweak the data or how it’s presented. Being able to keep that conversation going beside Numbers saves a lot of back-and-forth. If you run into any issues, please let us know. I really want to get this right.

Omni Sidebar docks to whatever window you're in — Word, Excel, Keynote, Notion, Obsidian, Safari, Mail, PDFs — and follows it when you move, resize, or go fullscreen. No copy-paste, no plugins, no switching apps to ask a question.
