Bro this app is legit. I don't know much about Android dev, but did some digging cause I was interested in open source apps that combined music with android dev and yours was amongst the first that popped up. Good job man, learning a lot about it thanks to your code. Additionally, I am also enjoying simpMusic. It's basically just as good as Spotify, if not better because there are some hip-hop mixtapes that aren't available on Spotify. You're able to surf the more underground side of music if that makes sense. I also feel that the YT recommendation algorithm is just better than Spotify whose magic shuffle is just terrible for discovering music.

What's great

I think it's pretty great and comprehensive, almost too good to be true. The interface and how it manages to give that feeling that you're actually using Spotify or Apple Music is incredible.

What needs improvement

lyrics not in sync (9)

So, for some reason the lyrics are faster than the music, and that could be improved. I also think that just like it syncs with YouTube, it should sync with Spotify, so the playlists are there too.

vs Alternatives

Because other apps simply weren't up to par; when I went to the search engine, nothing I was looking for would load.

Descobri o SimpleMusic justamente procurando um bom aplicativo de música. Testei vários e esse simplesmente caiu do céu literalmente falando. Interface, configuração muito simples e objetiva + funções de Djs, muito top. Já dei 5 estrela pq é muito bom até na qualidade do áudio. Um pedido de um iniciante fã, poderiam corrigir esse bug que do nada para de tocar a música. Tem acontecido direto. Parabéns pelo App! Obrigado!

I haven't had this problem until I just recently change my phone to the s24 but, when I tried to download a playlist then some of them would fail downloading. And when I try to play that playlist then the songs that failed to download would not play even when I'm on Wi-Fi.
