Hello, hunters and makers 👋🏽 For the last five years ago, maybe more, I set out to create a solution that would help men and women shop online confidently. I believed that an informed shopper makes better buying decisions, and Shop Size Wise would provide the tools necessary to make this possible. And it all begins with your size. Getting started is easy. Enter one or multiple sizes, down to the fraction, and Shop Size Wise will fetch everything it can find your size. Shoppers can also: • Create a Lookbook - Digital catalogue • Build a Size Profile - Personal size log • Watch Tutorials - How to videos on measuring the body We’re a team of designers, innovators, and explorers searching for new ways to navigate the world of fashion, gifting, and personal style. I'm here if you have questions! Background I want to share four questions that haunted me throughout the entire build. 1. Is this possible? 2. Would anyone see the value? 3. Can I afford to build it? 4. Where would I get the products from? • Is this possible? Yes! After countless attempts I DID IT! With the help from a few talented independent contractors. Shop Size Wise is now available to anyone and everyone. • Would anyone see the value? TBD. It’s too early to tell, this is the first big announcement since the launch a few months ago. However, I ran some preliminary user interviews and received positive feedback that helped shape the experience you see today. • How would I afford it? By cutting back on everything. I developed some new skills, and I went debt free. • Where would I get the products from? This was the most difficult challenge. First, I tried reaching out to local boutiques in Miami, no one was interested. After exhausting all my fashion contacts, mid-size and large brands, no one was interested. The decision to be an affiliate site provided immediate access to a variety of brands, products, and size charts. Critical data that helped define the minimum viable product. ----------------------------- The goal The vision is to scale the platform beyond an affiliate site. By providing tools and services for a community of shoppers looking for a more tactical approach to shopping online. As the product continues to grow, I plan on adding more brands, improving the recommendation intelligence, and eventually providing custom fit clothing.

Hi Hunter, Did you know? Before ready-made-fashion, we made our own clothes. Or had them made by a tailor or a seamstress. In other words, everything was made custom fit. In 1939, the US Department of Agriculture developed a voluntary standard sizing system to sell more ready-to-wear clothing. This idea came from making uniforms for soldiers in WW1. It's totally unique and in the days of COVID-19 online shopping especially on Amazon, to have something like sizewise that helps identify products that would look great on me that are in my size makes shopping easy and simple. It's like a digital mash up of stitchfix, pintrests but on Amazon! I love it

I’ve been abroad now going on eight years. However, I normally do my shopping or get my fashion ideas from back home via looking at clothing sites. So, if there is a site that can not only personalize my style along with an accurate fit then Shop Wise is made for me as well as many others who enjoy online shopping. Along with Shop Wise being convenient and easy for shopping online, it’s especially needed during these times, I think it’s a brilliant idea Damion!
