Hey @d3liaz Is Sketch2scheme the tool for me? It lets you convert your hand-drawn flowcharts into digital formats using AI. Sounds cool, but can it handle my messy sketches and export them to formats I need (PNG, SVG, PDF)?

@jpgohil93 Hey, that is a good question. I think you can try it. I tried messy sketches, and of course the recognition quality drops, but it is still able to recover a lot of information from it and prepare the ground to continue. Better than starting from scratch.

@kyrylosilin Thanks! It has some limitations in accuracy: sometimes connections between nodes are not fully recognized. However, about 80-90% of the diagram is recognized correctly. Hand-drawn text is almost always guessed accurately, thanks to modern LLMs that can read the entire diagram and understand context. Therefore, even if some of the text is poorly written, the AI can try to interpret it correctly, which is another advantage. These issues can be resolved by either editing the result in draw.io or manually adjusting the Mermaid code. I think it's a great tool to save time in the transition to the digital world.
