Love it! My only question/confusion was what to order if I wanted all of the attachments?
It seems like you have to choose between Suit, Trip or Biz. I could see myself modifying the insides according to what kind of trip I was taking (daily commute vs overnight flight).
@joshuapinter stoked you love it. The BIZ option is the complete kit & you can choose to then configure it as per your travel needs, exactly as you mention!
@kowalskiajason thx. for pointing. Yes there does seem to be some style similarities between Slicks & AER Duffle pack!.
Here are some of the main differences I could spot:
- AER duffle pack has a 2 layer construction: main duffle & a laptop section. We have 3 layer construction: Main duffle, Main Internal Compartment for Suitcover/TripCover/Clothes & then a Laptop compartment. So in Slicks, your clothes stay separated from the outside duffle area
- Slicks has a distinctive, smooth, round outer surface finish achieved by using 'softshell' luggage style padding - that gives it a more sleek (& in our view, sexy!) appearance than the AER duffle pack
- With Slick, you can stow the shoulder straps & hipbelt to covert it into a discrete-looking briefcase. Not sure if this is possible with the AER pack.
- AER is well a duffle with a one main large compartment. With Slicks, we have the Tripcover & Suitcover modular inlays that help organise your clothes and keep them wrinkle-free, while organizing your toiletries & storing your dirty laundry.
I could go on...but really we do have a lot more organization & modular features in Slicks compared to the AER, making it more adaptable to various travel scenarios.
Hope this helps!

The Slicks Travel backpack is a modular travel backpack available either as a base backpack only or in three tailored options (SUIT, TRIP & BIZ) each with internal inserts designed to expand the function of the pack and keep you organized, looking slick no matter where you are: at work, on the road, or exploring new places.
Slicks backpack launched on Kickstarter 36 hours ago and raised over $60,000 already, reaching 74% of their goal already ($80,000).
Slicks backpack is designed & developed by FLINK, a Swiss product development company. Hence the tagline!
Hi Kevin, many thanks for 'hunting' us! Really excited to be here on PH. Happy to answer any questions and looking forward to comments / feedback from the community here.

Simple great! and to carry suits is perfect, I am an addict to backpacks, so hope soon in my collection. Only missing one detail after more than XXX backpacks used, is the so called security pocket thay sould be in the back. Perfect to carry passport, ID's, and valuable papers.
@bustosjp Thx. & glad you like Slicks. We do actually have zipped security pocket on the inside of the pack for exactly this purpose - for carrying passport, wallets, keys, ID & other valuable items. It can be accessed without having to open the whole pack in clamshell mode. If you just unzip the main compartment zipper midway from the top, the pack opens up like a normal backpack & you can then access this inside zip pocket for your valuables (which only runs about 18cms deep btw - so you don't have to fumble all the way at the bottom of the pack!).

Looks quite interesting! Although I think I like the size of my Tortuga Travel backpack a lot better.
@mbjones Thx. As a 30L pack, Slicks can be better compared to the Tortuga Air (27L -35L) then main Totruga Travel Backpack which is a massive 44L sized.

@sasidot Yep! Unfortunately I'm a big fellow and use the 44l well :)
