Today we're opening the Slimefish waitlist, and we're excited to finally share what we've been building.

Slimefish is a prediction market built for Africa, starting in East Africa and expanding as we grow. We believe people should be rewarded for being informed, while creating forecasts that help everyone make better decisions.

We've spent the past months designing a simpler, more accessible experience with privacy in mind, lower fees, and support for market types that aren't available on existing prediction platforms. Deposits are seamless, and we'll handle the complexity in the background so anyone can get started.

Would love to see a leaderboard or reputation system that tracks forecasting accuracy over time, kind of like a credibility score. It would make it way more fun to follow top predictors and give newcomers something to aim for. Also feels like it could help separate lucky guesses from genuinely informed forecasts.

@vedat02op Thank you for your interest, as a startup we are using an Automated Market Maker instead of a Central limit order book. as volume increases we will adjust, so while all trades are private newcomers will always have something to aim for . and yes , we will separate the 2 ( lucky guesses from genuinely informed forecast. consider signing up and sharing it with your friends . thank you
