I’m XiangLei, CEO of SnapFill.
I built SnapFill because I hit a breaking point. Last year, while applying for a government grant for our company, I spent 6 hours manually copying numbers from our financial model into a rigid DOCX form.
I tried asking GPT to do it, but the results were messy: the numbers were mostly right, but the table borders were destroyed, the fonts were wrong, and the document was unusable.
The problem wasn't the "intelligence"—it was the "formatting" and the "context."
So, we built SnapFill to solve exactly that. It’s an AI agent designed for the boring (but critical) paperwork that runs the world.

@lightninglx Congrats. What inspired you to build SnapFill, especially the focus on keeping form layouts 100% intact while using AI to fill data?
Was there a story or specific user problem that made you realise this was a big pain point?
@kimberly_ross During my PhD and postdoc years as both a researcher and a faculty member I was buried under a mountain of paperwork every single year. Whether it was administrative forms or grant applications I found myself filling out the same data hundreds or even thousands of times. Coincidentally a chapter of my doctoral dissertation focused specifically on engineering forms giving me deep insights into information extraction and data mapping. After enduring thousands of these painful experiences I had a lightbulb moment. Why not transform my research into a product to solve this headache once and for all? This is also why SnapFill insists on keeping layouts 100% intact because in professional fields the integrity of the format is often as critical as the data itself.
@lightninglx This is very cool! Is there Memory functionality which allows me feed SnapFill details I want it to remember or perhaps it learns things about me over time — to quicken filling out forms over time without first having to source and upload all the knowledge data?
@jacklyn_i We are already developing this feature internally. Our goal is to provide an even smoother filling experience by integrating a learning memory system. We plan to roll this out in the official version following our beta phase ensuring that the more you use SnapFill the more intuitive and instantaneous it becomes.

I’ve tested every form filler. This is the first one that doesn't break the layout.
@jeffery_russell thanks for your support and feedback, for pdf we have a lot of work to do, we have also tested open claw, where we directly ask agent (e.g., opus 4.6) to do the task, they also easily fail when processing complex pdf
