@pedram92d Thanks Pedram! :) I would prefer to divide the Stack into Skills rather than type of resources. Do you have any suggestion for a newsletter related to a specific Skill?
Report
@nicolasegosum there are a bunch of newsletters about product management like the one I curate every Saturday https://www.getrevue.co/profile/... but not sure about any focused on a specific skill within product management.
Thanks for pulling this resource together and including Aha! in the roadmap section.
We have been fortunate to be included in a few lists like yours and that has helped us grow to serve over 50,000 users in about three years. It has been an amazing adventure. We do serve many of the world's best known companies as you suggest, but we also serve a ton of small and mid-sized companies too. You can check out about 75 of their stories here: http://www.aha.io/customers
And if you are interested it taking a look at our broad set of product management capabilities (beyond visual roadmaps) you can quickly view screenshots here: http://www.aha.io/product/featur...
Thanks again and we wish you the best with Praber.
@bdehaaff Thank you Brian for creating such a useful tool! :) Maybe I will include a Case Study link for the resources to help people understand how people use the tools.
I would love to have the Lean Roadmap template. :)
Thank you @nicolasegosum for making this great tool. Just discovered "Hooked" by Nir Eyal under the product strategy category. Going to go pick it up today.
@_guled_ Cool! @nireyal's Hooked I think is must read for any Product Manager. I have also published a summary on the Stack (if you can read my handwriting :p)
I think this is the best single collection of Product Management resources I've ever seen. This will be very helpful for people to understand what Product involves. Some thoughts:
- There is a lot of great content missing that I wish I could contribute, would love a "suggestion" feature. Could even allow upvotes/downvotes to crowdsource to the top the best resources in each category
- "Software Product Management Stack" is a misleading title. This doesn't seem to be a list of tools a PM uses to do his job, and more an educational resource to learn about all the functional areas. Unless you're taking the angle that these "concepts" are part of your "stack", but I still think it's misleading.
@taykcrane Thanks Taylor! I'm honoured to receive such compliment by you. TO answer to your thoughts:
1. There is a Suggest link at the bottom where you can suggest Resources. The website is currently static. If it will gain traction in the community I might convert it to a more dynamic experience.
2. A Stack, as "revived" by @bramk is a collection of "resources & tools". My interpretation or resources is "theory". In my personal opinion, theory is very important. I'm not a big fan of the popular way startups behave nowadays: too much focused on experiments and growth and not on a strategy. In this way you just burn money, and eventually it ends. Theory is more important than tools, because once you learn the concepts, it does not matter which tool is the perfect one. The Stack has always theory at the top and the most important tools at the bottom. As I said previously I'm not focused on quantity, but on quality. @producthunt does a great job of featuring the best new tools everyday, you don't my stack for that. :) But, again, this is my personal view.
I'm very happy you appreciated the Stack. It means a lot from a Senior Product Manager! 😻

Categorized pretty well but I expected a little more if a site like that featured in PH. And just a suggestion, differentiate articles and tools (ux-wise).
thx for sharing.
