Hey everyone 👋 I’m Vaishak, founder of Speakance. I built this because I felt something was broken in how startups are evaluated. Most founders are judged on one-time pitch decks. But decks show storytelling, not execution. The real signal is hidden across scattered places, Twitter threads, demo videos, random updates. There’s no single place where you can actually see how a founder operates over time. So I started building Speakance. @mateuszjacni That’s exactly the problem we’re tackling. One update can be framed well, but over time it’s hard to fake real execution. We look at consistency, whether claims actually show up later, and how decisions evolve. The truth shows up in the pattern.

The risk of turning execution into content

One thing I m actively thinking about is how to keep founder updates real and useful, not performative.

If timelines become optimized for attention instead of truth, the core value of Speakance breaks.
