Hi, I'm the Co-Founder of speakme. speakme is a video forum where members can record videos about anything that matters to them. Other members respond with videos of their own, and these play in order, creating an atmosphere less like a bulletin board and more like a dinner conversation. Ultimately we wanted to try to make the online world feel a little smaller, and connect people in a more authentic way.
We're just launching in beta this week and I'm happy to answer questions!

@rrhoover really good question. Mobile is obviously where things are moving, but we wanted to start on web because we wanted to set the tone of the conversation as being one where people sit down and think about what they want to say. We can't compete with something like Vine, so we wanted to actively move in another direction.
