Clean AF!
I already love fast.com and Google's own Internet Speed Test, but for someone that spends more than half his day in Terminal, you gotta love how simple and beautiful this is.
Does this do well testing gigabit connections? Other speedtests do poorly because it doesn’t take advantage of enough threads to fully use the entire pipe.
The best I’ve found is the dslreports CLI speed test which allows you to specify up and down threads.

Sindre is the man!
Pros:
Simplicity and convenience.
Cons:
If it could somehow give me more bandwidth, but apart from that I think its perfect.

Been using this for a long time and love it. It always surprises me how often I need to use a tool like this on various servers I work on.
Been using this with my Raspberry Pi and a cron job to test and record my internet speed every hour for the past month or so. Gives me some good ammunition when my ISP tells me they are increasing service prices.

I just made a Docker version of it.
docker run --rm -it devmtl/speedtest:1.0A
