Welcome to Spixor [Pre-Alpha]
Every great platform starts as an idea something small, experimental, and full of potential. Spixor is at that stage right now.
You re stepping into an early version of what we re building: a space that is still growing, evolving, and being shaped every day. Things may not always work perfectly yet, and you might notice features changing, improving, or even temporarily disappearing. That s all part of the journey.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Jonathan, founder of Spixor.
I started Spixor because something always felt wrong about website builders.
You spend hours -or even days- designing and building something amazing...
and in the end, you don’t really own it.
Sometimes, you pour all that work into a site for a customer. It’s ready to ship, so you hand it over.
And suddenly, they can do it all themselves with the very tools you used.
Another client gone. And you’re still locked in.
You’re tied to a platform. Exporting is limited. And leaving often means starting from scratch.
That never made sense to me.
So I started building Spixor.
A space-inspired, export-first no-code website builder where your site is actually yours.
You can design it visually, export everything,
and take it wherever you want. Kind of like doing groceries.
No lock-in. No weird restrictions.
We’re in pre-alpha right now. It’s early. Things can break. Some parts are still missing.
But we’re building fast, improving constantly, and figuring this out in the open.
Also — it’s free to use.
I want people to be able to jump in and explore without friction.
Spixor is for:
• designers who want control
• indie makers who don’t want to get stuck
• agencies who need flexibility
• anyone who thinks the web should feel more… open, like space 😉.
If you try it, I’d really love to hear what you think —
what feels right, what doesn’t, what’s missing.
This is still the beginning, and your feedback genuinely shapes where this goes.
What’s something that always frustrated you about website builders? 🚀
@spixor Is there light mode? Would giver it a try. Looks interesting. A video explaining the product on the website could be super beneficial to clearly differentiate you from other website builder.
Best of luck mate! Rooting for you. 🚀
@richard_andrews4 Thank you for your comment! Light mode is currently in development - it’s a highly requested feature that we’re excited to implement.
We’re also collaborating with creators to produce videos, so stay tuned for that! Please note that we’re still in the pre-alpha phase, so stability isn’t perfect yet. If you decide to give Spixor a try, we’d love to hear your feedback. We’re actively working to take the product to the next level 📈
@richard_andrews4 Hi Richard, I would like to get back on this topic.
Yesterday we implemented a light mode. This goes for the complete Spixor environment. If you would like to give it a try, you can sign up. You can request a key at https://spixor.com/support so we can directly send you one :-)
