stagewise is an open-source coding agent that can actually see your app. It works in its own browser environment, reads the DOM and console, and edits the code behind what it’s looking at. Use any model, bring your own key, and keep full control.

Stagewise has been great for a lot of visual based tasks like debugging ui issues.

It needs a lot more polishing and bug fixes, luckly the team is very responsive and fixes them quickly!

I prefer stagewise because it has the ability to create mini apps inside the chat bar, which makes the whole chat experience feel a lot better integrated in the browser.

I've had the opportunity to be a beta tester for quite a while now, and I must admit that Stagewise has truly replaced Cursor for me.

We have a very component-heavy, React-based application with well over 1,000 files. At first, I was worried about whether it could efficiently gather sufficient context for my tasks, but it has performed brilliantly.

I’m currently on the Ultra plan and feel like I’m getting more Opus usage than I did with Cursor. I suspect their token caching system might be implemented differently.

On top of that, the founders are incredibly responsive on Discord whenever an issue arises.

I think a few more features would make it even better

Works much better for me, I have a frontend heavy SaaS for example the autonomous screenshot taking and frontend testing fixed bugs with 1 prompt that usually took me several prompts in other tools.
