@mdgld shoot, that should not be the case. The download should have started just after the signup, did it? We are on the way to improve it anyway

Hi @al3xstrat
Really like Station already. A few ideas:
A quick access shortcut (command + K) like in Slack to switch between apps, the unified search and perhaps to add new apps.
A team station. It would be crazy awesome if you could create a team station where the admin could add the apps a team uses and perhaps pin some items from certain apps (like a Slack channel, an Airtable base or a Google Docs doc). Would be very unifying for a team and very convenient for new team members.
Sync between computers. I work on two computers so I would be great with a sync option so that I only need to log in once and all my apps are they in sync on both computers.
Add your own apps. At our university, we have our own systems we host and use and it would nice to be able to add them (to our team station 😉).
@galimotion access shortcut: that's supposed to be the role of the search Cmd+T. This one is perfectible, but what you think is missing compared to what you have in mind?
That's definitely the idea. If you have a team and you would love to test "Station for Team" next week, please DM me!
The sync: the dream indeed! We have on the roadmap!
Your own app: exactly that will be included in "Station for Team"
Great app you guys! I know with all the services, we all felt this pain. As a developer, I use a lot of panes and tabs and keyboard shortcuts to minimize time—it would be awesome if the app can split screens and have shortcuts to navigate through those windows. As for my workflow, it still seems faster still for me to open all these services in Chrome and work in different window panes. One big screen per service is somewhat limiting—or is there that kind of function already. Regardless, great app. Awesome job!
Hey @anthonygawonlee have you tried the detached window feature? It allows any app to be detached as an independent window. It's made for people using several screen.
You can know more about using it here: https://intercom.help/station/ba... (don't mind it's the old design).

Nice initiative!
At the moment there is only one little bug. I have two icons of each initial services (gmail, calendar & drive)

@katrynvonfelsen Thx, that's a bug. You can remove the apps that are doubled, you found how?

The app seems to be cool, but theres some things I think are crucial and I'm missing:
- Multiple accounts, I currently use multiple Google accounts, with drive and inbox, also with iTunes connect
- I think will be much cool to have tabs instead of the list in the hover sidebar (and to differentiate with multiple accounts just could use colors or the profile pic of the account)
- Different notification sound for each app, try to match with the native app
What I don't like, the hover sidebar, its so annoying.
What I don't understand, why I would add more app instances if it shares the same account and also appears twice (or more) in the sidebar.
I read that the app will have password manager integration, hope if it supports keychain.
Regards
@norman784:
- we do support multiple Google accounts! Just add an other Gmail, or whatever and it'll ket you connect it to new account
- yes, we are considering it
- good idea!
- hover sidebar: we are fixing it currently
- I think it's a bug, already reported here: we are fixing it, you can delete these doublon apps

I like it, only thing missing is right clicking an app to flush the RAM when I know I won't be using it.
@16jsdev we'd prefer you don't have to worry about that, and that we do that for you. In the future, we'll improve the page killing algorithm and maybe make its "agressivity" configurable.

@al3xstrat That's okay can't wait to see the setting for it
