We immediately focused on kids’ incredible creativity. We wanted to let them combine the power of their ideas with AI tools, but we needed to make sure we did it safely and in the right way.
Enter Stickerbox, a voice powered sticker printer. By combining AI image generation with thermal sticker printing, we instantly turn their wildest ideas into real physical stickers they can color, stick, and share.

I was fortunate to have @ajustrun send me a Stickerbox so I could play around with one ahead of launch — and man is this thing fun!
Once you get it online, you simply conjure up some image in my your mind and then say it out loud — the Stickerbox takes what you said and then prints a black and white sticker that you can color in with the provided colored-pencils. So fun! 🖍️
I'm shocked at how much AI you can get away with in a child's toy — and it shows that if we lean into the mystery and creativity of generative AI (with appropriate guardrails, OFC), you can create something delightful and engaging and that gives kids a way to express themselves, rather than turning them into mindless thumbs scrolling the infinite feed.

My new favorite thing as a parent. A big thank you to @ajustrun for sending me a unit to test and I'm not lying that it felt like Christmas. My daughter wakes up every morning now asking if she can use @Stickerbox and it's become a great motivator to finish her homework or chores.

I have instantly wondered about the number of stickers in the pack: 180 is perhaps even more than enough. Anyway, the logistics of sticker packs should be way simpler than devices.
Got one question, though:
What if the reality doesn't align with a child's imagination of "AI magic"? Is there a chance of disappointment?
