Stoa combines the ancient philosophy of Stoicism with mindfulness meditation in a practical meditation app. Join thousands by using it to practice the Stoic disciplines and becoming calmer, more resilient, and virtuous.
Hi Hunters.
Stoa combines the ancient philosophy of Stoicism with mindfulness meditation in a practical meditation app.
@michael_tremblay1 and I want this to be the best tool of its kind.
Our mission is to share the lessons and practices from ancient philosophy to help people live better, calmer, and more virtuous lives.
This is our second launch. Since we were first hunted we've:
- completely redone UI.
- added hours of content, like daily meditations.
- acquired thousands of users.
- run live workshops.
- and @michael_tremblay1 finished his PhD in Stoicism.
Vale.

Good UI and made for Stoics and others already well-versed in mindfulness, as well as for beginners, with a receptive and responsive dev team that is always looking to make improvements based on user feedback. Zen/10.
I find this app to be quite helping helpful in my tough times. Blending the art of stoicism and mindfulness meditation would work wonders and this app exactly helps us do that. Also the developers would let anyone reap the full benefits of the app even if you can't afford it as they'll let you use Stoa for free. So I highly recommend this app.
@kaman_shrestha Glad that you've found the app to be helpful! That's why we built it.

I have been a long term user of this since much before it was hunted, and I love it.
Also I'd encourage everyone to read Seneca's letters to Lucilius. Best.
@jai_verdancy Thanks. Second the reading recommendation.

I've been using this app for over two years now. When I first discovered it, it was free. It eventually became a pay-for app, but I was not in a position to be able to afford it at the time. Caleb was kind enough to give me a free log in. As a result of his kindness and being able to apply Stoic principles to the struggles I was experiencing, I was able to dig myself out of the hole I found myself in. I'm now a grateful paying user of this app, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
