Hey Product Hunt! Streaks is a way for you to track habits and resolutions by staking money on the blockchain. Two years ago, I tried very hard to make going to the gym a habit but just couldn't. Then, I read Indistractable by Nir Eyal, and he shared how placing bets on you achieving your goals makes it 3x likelier to happen. I stuck a $10 note on my room door and promised myself to burn it if I didn't go to the gym 6x a week. It worked. That is the motivation behind Streaks. You commit to your goals by staking crypto. If you complete them, you get your money back. If you don't, it goes to an address you choose (can be a friend or a charity). Everything is powered by smart contracts on the blockchain. With 2024 just a few days away, we will once again make a bunch of resolutions. Streaks will help you fulfill them :)
