I'm Dong, and I’m thrilled to share my new app with you, StrongMe. It’s a positive affirmation card app, and I built it because I believe it’s something everyone needs at some point in their lives.
Last year, I hit a really tough spot. I was juggling intense pressure from both my life and my work, and I found myself stuck in a daily cycle of low self-esteem, self-doubt, anxiety, and just feeling mentally drained from overthinking everything. With my wife’s encouragement, I started seeing a therapist.
She introduced me to several techniques like hypnotherapy and meditation, but the one thing that truly clicked for me was a simple deck of positive affirmation cards. She gave me a daily practice:
Draw one card every morning. Repeat the phrase to myself and take a photo of it on my phone to look at later.
Act on the card's prompt throughout the day—whether it was doing one small thing, making a decision, holding onto a new belief, or just taking a moment to reflect.
Journal about my actions and feelings.
Share the card and my experience with friends or family.
After a few months of this routine, I slowly started to get my confidence back and learned to make peace with my difficult emotions. But one persistent problem kept bothering me: physical cards and a journal aren't portable. You have to leave them at home. I looked for an app that would let me draw a card and journal on the go, but to my surprise, I couldn't find one.
So, I decided to build it myself. And that’s how StrongMe was born.
With StrongMe, you can:

Of course, you don't have to be going through a hard time to use StrongMe. My therapist later told me that positive affirmations are for everyone. She called it one of the best tools for practicing proactive mental self-care.

The app has a stunning appearance. You've obviously given it a lot of thought because the design is serene and well-thought-out.
I wanted to express a few ideas. Even though I think the idea is fantastic, I'm not sure if the premium features offered now are enough to entice most users to pay. In the paid version, you might want to think about providing more distinctive value.
Furthermore, the affirmations on the cards seem a little uninteresting. Although they are upbeat, they don't really emotionally connect with anyone. Enhancing their impact or insight could significantly improve the user experience.
All in all, it's a fantastic beginning with a lot of promise. I respect you for making something so intimate. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I'm looking forward to seeing the app grow!
