AMAZING app, super convenient! I use it everyday!!
This app is incredibly helpful, convenient, and very easy to use! I'm always super busy at work that I sometimes don't even have time to write down all the things I need to finish, but with this app I can just talk it out very naturally and tell it everything I need to do, and it writes everything down for me and even categorize it!
I love that I can update the status of my tasks/to-dos as I go.. So if I've only just started a task or if I've only finished part of it, I can update its status by swiping or even by TELLING it to update certain tasks, which is super convenient and really motivating, because it gives me a sense of accomplishment, especially with tasks that take forever to finally cross off my list!
I also love that it automatically archives everything at the end of each day, neatly dated so I can go back to it whenever I need to, and that the archive is on a separate page so things don’t get too crowded! It also has really cute themes/colors to make my to-dos a little less boring!
It’s super user friendly, very thoughtfully designed and overall amazing! Hats off to the developer! I really love this app, it has made things so much easier for me! ❤️
Stupido: The App That Finally Gets My Brain
I gotta be honest, when my friend Sharif told me he coded a to-do app, my internal monologue was basically "Oh boy...yet another to-do app." I mean, isn't a to-do list app something that every coding bootcamp assigns as a project to their students?
As a friend, I downloaded it on TestFlight to give it a go and entered a few notes. Okay, it looked nice. It was easy to type up a few tasks. It was easy to tick them off the list. Big whoop.
But then...I saw him post a video on X about how he actually uses it. He was SPEAKING his notes into Stupido. Oh man...I totally missed that this was the way the app was meant to be used!
The Lightbulb Moment
So I went back to the app with fresh eyes. Once I realized it was a voice-first to-do list, it all clicked.
Here's the thing: I sense from the people around me that I'm the person who rambles on. Perhaps too much. My wife constantly tells me to get straight to the point.
Well, Stupido makes this ramblings a sort of "superpower". I can be "me" and give a long stream of thoughts and ideas for what I want to do. Stupido creates a series of succinct to-do list items from that ramble. I really like that it auto-organizes them into different categories.
Why It Actually Works (for me)
I've been using the app for more than two months now, and it's earned a spot on my home screen.
I use it most often when I'm out and about, walking, and need to record a thought about something that I need to do. I don't have to worry about typing it all out or finding the right folder to jot down a note that I hope to retrieve in the future. I just hit the red button, babble on for a bit, and it's created and captured the items for me.
For someone like me who likes to think out loud and tends to overcomplicate simple thoughts, this app is exactly what I didn't know I needed.
Hacker Search
I’ve been using Stupido for a few weeks and it’s made it surprisingly fun to manage my todo list! The voice approach is really novel and interesting. Excited to see how this app grows!
