Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m the maker of Sumvid, a small side project I built to help people get the key points from long online videos faster.
I often found myself spending 45–60 minutes on tutorials or lectures just to extract the main ideas, so I wanted to see if AI could help summarize them in seconds. For example, a 60-minute video can be condensed into a 1-minute summary that captures the key insights.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
How do you usually take notes or capture the main points from long videos?
Do you see yourself using a tool like this for study, work, or content creation?
Any ideas on how this could be even more useful?
I’m excited to get your feedback and improve the project — still learning and experimenting myself!

@richard_segura75 I love how Sumvid condenses long talks into bite-sized summaries. I can now review multiple lectures or webinars in a fraction of the time without missing key points.
