Supa Screenshots are beautiful, customizable, and instant screenshots taken in seconds. Here's how Supa Screenshot works ✨ 1. Capture screenshot 2. Annotate or beautify 3. Copy, save, or share as a URL
It’s always the simple solutions that are often overlooked - like screenshots.
For what should be a simple, straightforward process, I always found it to be clunky, messy and unorganized.
Whether it's juggling between multiple tools to markup, large file constraints, or keeping desktops organized – taking beautiful screenshots has felt less than ideal.
And after speaking to hundreds of our customers, it's clear that they feel the same.
And so I did what I know best - built a solution with my team. Now, enter Supa Screenshot 🥁
With Supa Screnshot, you can instantly create and share beautiful screenshots for free. All through a simple, intuitive Chrome extension.
Here's how it works:
1. Capture screenshot: Open the extension to capture a browser window or use ⌘ + shift + 9 to quickly snap a screenshot.
2. Annotate and beautify: Use the built-in editor to crop, annotate, blur or beautify your screenshot in seconds.
3. Copy, save or share as URL: Copy to your clipboard with ⌘ + C, download with ⌘ + X, share as a URL, or add it to an existing Supademo.
I’d love for you to be one of the first to try it out 🫡

@supademo_joe Great to see analytics included. I often need to assess who from the team viewed specific screenshots with markups and when. Wishing you a successful launch! 🙌
Report
@supademo_joe Hey there Supa team, congrats on launching Supa Screenshot! It sounds like a fantastic solution to a common pain point - capturing and annotating screenshots efficiently.
- Does Supa Screenshot integrate with any popular productivity tools or platforms (e.g., Slack, Notion, Asana) to streamline the workflow for users who heavily rely on screenshots for communication?
- Beyond basic annotation tools, does Supa Screenshot offer any advanced features like arrows, shapes, or callouts for more complex annotations?
We might be able to offer some suggestions based on your answers to further enhance Supa Screenshot's functionality and appeal to a wider user base.
We're excited to try out the Chrome extension and see how it simplifies the screenshot capture and annotation process!
Love this idea! A couple thoughts here. Is there support for Drive/iCloud syncing of screenshots? I don’t really wanna be locked in here.
Also is there the option to crop a screenshot to standard sizes like thumbnails, mobile screenshots, etc? Being able to wrap screenshots in specific frames, like a phone or laptop frame, would also make it more supa 🤭
@bradydowling great feedback here.
- There's no syncing right now, but you can easily export your screenshots and upload to your desired platform of choice without hosting on Supa (URL links are optional)
- Standard crop is an upcoming feature alongside device frames. We wanted to ship quickly and iterate on real-world customer feedback (like this) instead of overbuilding with too many features up front :)
Supa looks like it's got a solid and easy-to-use solution for making screenshots. But you know what would make it even better? If you could just flip on the Chrome extension and start snagging screenshots without having to sign up. 😎🚀 Congratulation on your launch and best of luck!
@max_kamyshev Thanks for your feedback Max. We appreciate it heaps and will take it into consideration. Looking forward to all the Supa Screenshots you're going to be taking. 📸
@max_kamyshev That's a great idea, Max, I have a follow-up question and would love your thoughts on it. Because our extension allows for both Recording Demos and Taking Screenshots, we've added keyboard shortcuts and we open a popup showing both options. Would love your thoughts as a user, if you would prefer a better experience for your use case. Maybe something like making it a toggleable "mode" that switches between screenshot and record demo or some other idea. Curious to hear your thoughts on this!
@wwwhatsnew Screenshots taken using Supa Screenshot are both high quality and low size at the same time. A majority of fullscreen screenshots taken on high-res screens are less than ~400kb.
We do also have plans for adding more compression options to the saved files in a near future. The real kicker is how you can now create high-fidelity interactive product demos and marketing screenshots all in one place.
B2B buying has changed. It's no longer a linear journey where you can get the buyer on a discovery call, book a demo walkthrough, and seal the deal 😬
Today's buyers demand more than that:
👀They want to play around the product before they make a case to get buy-in;
👀They want to realize the product's value before they pay for it;
👀They want to be confident in their purchase;
The solution? Interactive product demos like Supademo 🚀
And......creating interactive demos just got supaaaa easier 🪩🥳

At Supademo, we want to help give people tools to simplify their lives. We have worked on making product demos simple, beautiful, and effective. And in that process, we've built some skills that help us make effective tools for people who need them. And our goal is to empower creators with the tools they need to show off their products and their creativity
Screenshot tools exist already. Mac has an inbuilt screenshot tool, but are they optimized for the web? Do they make it easy to annotate, crop, blur, and edit them? Do they make it easy to share with your friends? Can they be easily added to interactive demos or videos? We saw ways that we could make this process a whole easier, and that was the genesis of Supa Screenshot. We hope you find it as wonderful using it as we did building it.
In fact, here's a Supademo showing how to use Supa Screenshot (yes, we are a little obsessed with our own tools 😅) - Introducing Supa Screenshots
