Switch adds a Sidebar to your browser and gives you the tools to switch between your apps, accounts, and workflows in one place. Switch instantly helps you to become more productive ⚡️
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Bertie (@bertie), and together with @tom_isherwood, @greg2go, and @zcourts we’re excited to share Switch!
Chrome is an AMAZINGLY powerful browser, but it was never built for modern workflows. We spend hours of our day in the browser, working in apps and accounts, but all too often this ends in chaos!
Switch changes this by adding a Sidebar right into the browser you ALREADY use, helping to turn disorder into order 💪
It gives you a set of productivity tools that make it easier to switch between apps, accounts, and workflows 🧠
We want Switch to help you to achieve more, and to do it better and faster - let us know your favourite feature of Switch or any other feedback below! ⚡️
Thanks so much to @kevin for hunting our product, and for the rest of the PH community for giving excellent advice and feedback as we’ve been through the launch - you’re all awesome!
Please let us know if you have any questions!
Thanks, Bertie (@bertie)
Hey @dawn_veltri1 - glad you like the look of Switch!
Yes, you can hide the Sidebar on all pages by unticking Show Sidebar on all new pages in the settings menu, or individual pages by clicking the < button or using the Ctrl + /shortcut.
Hope this helps!
Hey @daniel_baum - Sidekick is an awesome product, but you need to fully commit to swapping browsers which is too much for some users. That's why we built something that goes straight into your browser!
There's definitely some overlap in features, but we also have document filters so you can find documents from specific apps from the homepage, and we have the ability to share Spaces with anyone.
Oh, and the price of Pro 😉
Hope that helps and thanks for checking Switch out!
@bertie Makes total sense, a lower switching cost should drive higher adoption rates. And extensions are a great first step. Best of luck!

Really love apps like this and this one is pretty intriguing to me. One feature I would love, is if instead of having multi-account per tab, you could just set a space as a new "session" and anything in that space can be a different account.
I work in the O365 space so I have to have a lot of different accounts signed in and it would be great to not have to first duplicate the tab to sign into another account.
Otherwise, really love it so far! Going to be using for my personal stuff :) Great work!
thanks for the feedback @redrock609! very interesting idea - automating and integrating two of our key features, Spaces and Multi-Account Login - has gone on the list!

@tom_isherwood Realised I logged in with the wrong twitter account, I'm the same dude as above. And awesome! Glad you like the idea! I think it would be incredibly powerful to have dedicated sessions for different clients that can be recalled/saved. I've been using Workona + Different browser profiles to manage different client projects that have different logins, but if I could do it all in one browser profile, that would be a major win.

I've been using Switch for the past few months in early release and I'm pretty taken by it. Spaces in general help me to split my tasks and organise my day so I'm all for it! I've tried a few of the other browsers but having to download them is a bit of a pain, but having this as an extension is great! Excited to see what's next!
