Tadata is the AI employee that lives in your Slack. It connects to your tools, learns your company and your preferences, and does work for your team.

I love that it meets people where they already work, hope to see a Teams native version as many of my clients are on Microsoft. It’s thoughtful, practical, and has a ton of potential especially for quick onboarding to authenticated MCP, which can be managed at the team vs individual level, enabling less tech savvy, AI holdouts, can get value from the first question, if another team member has set up a connection that helps them, without requiring everyone on the workspace to create a new account. Really excited to see where the team takes it.

Having been close with Tadata’s previous iterations, I know that one of their strengths is tool-level permissions, and I think they could improve the ability for a user to granularly permission their teams’ tool use, within the slack chat interface. Also, the draft email it generated wasn’t as strong as I am getting with other models. Not sure if it’s related to context included or model selection, and would like to be able to ask questions about configuration and get clear answers.

For business use, the standard ai platform typically require each member of the team to create an account, use a new tool, but with Tadata billing on a usage model, teams know they are not paying for unused accounts or requiring time-consuming setup for teammates with infrequent usage.

As a Tadata user I got early access to the AI Slack Employee product and it was incredibly impressive. I initially built a prioritized task planner and end of week wrap up for my team. Huge bonus points: simple prompting from Slack, easy connector setup to Notion, Gmail, Calendar, and actionable outputs. The biggest win is having these types of agents in a collaborative space like Slack. Kudos Tadata.

I really love it so far. The biggest value adds are; 1) the convenience of it being right in slack. So easy to call something right there as I am in Slack at least 20-30% of my day. 2) a LOT of integrations within it already so from the get go it can do a lot of GTM functions, 3) easy installation/integration.

I think it could be sped up a little bit. Even when asking it general questions it takes longer than you would think it would. I am sure they will work on it though. Super solid product.

I didn't consider anything else as I didn't know of other tools like this.
