Hey all. I'm one of the co-founders of Talkshow. Thanks for checking it out -- can't wait to tune in to the Talkshows you host. Would love to answer questions if you've got 'em.

@sippey Congrats on the app! However, it seems to not be working for me right now - it crashed and doesn't let me get back again. already deleted it and re-instaled but doesn't work

@carlosleisantos thanks, carlos -- we are seeing the same issue and are working to fix asap. we're sorry!

@sippey Good luck on that guys! And check the "Improvements to Talkshow 🤔 [OPEN TALK]" if you can, some good things were pointed out by the community!
Again, congrats on the app. Please ping everyone when it gets back on
This is a great version of a great idea @sippey. It'll be even more exciting once groups get on board to talk about topics - this would be incredible for TV casts, group interviews/conversations, or just people who feel they're maybe kinda smart and funny (i.e., everyone). As is, it's already to the point where regular texting feels a little like a letdown once I get used to getting hearts for my texts. Well done!
How does moderation work on client? Who is moderating the spam, abuse, etc.. ? - Great app , I like it.. I just am bit worried about misuse as any other social network.

@sippey Interesting concept here. This reminds me a lot of AOL Chatrooms from back in the day. A couple questions:
1) If I create my own talkshow, how do I get exposure to the rest of the community? Does it appear within everyone's "what's on" feed?
2) Do you use an algo to determine what appears in a users feed (like Fbook) or is it chronological ?
3) Do you plan on adding some sort of proximity/geo feature where users can create talkshows that are location specific. I.e. at a live sporting event, on the NYC subway (if it ever gets the damn wifi they've been promising), etc.
@seansh86 Hey Sean! It does appear in What's On, where other people with the app can discover it. We also have web-based permalinks for every show, so it's easy to share you show on Twitter / Facebook / etc., and people can tune in to your show without even needing the app. Right now the What's On is chronological with a bit of filtering; and we're looking at how we make that better over time, including thinking about geo. Thanks for checking out Talkshow!
Great product @sippey! I would be curious to know if you could have a thread of things happening within a very small proximity of me (same restaurant, same building, etc, within feet instead of miles). That way people can share recommendations, find each other, etc.
This is exciting! It feels like the Twitter Rooms concept: https://medium.com/swlh/twitter-...
I've designed not too long ago finally materialized. I'm really excited to see how this develops. I think there's a ton of potential in this space.
